New “Rumours” For The Gwangju Performance Project
The Gwangju Performance Project will be holding auditions on Sunday, March 16th for its next scheduled play, which it has announced to be the beloved Neil Simon comedy “Rumors”. The play centres on a dinner party attended by high-profile guests which goes ridiculously wrong.
Those interested in auditioning are urged to post to the GPP’s Facebook page, where a schedule has been set up. Time slots are awarded on a first-come basis.
The Gwangju Performance Project was founded in 2011 by Jo Park and Travis Major to produce Steve Martin’s “Picasso at the Lapin Agile”. The GPP has since served as the community theatre troupe of Gwangju’s English-speaking community, putting on at least one full production per year.
More information about the GPP can be found at its website.
