Baby Sound Theatre: “Shapes, Shapes”

• Dates: August 21–23 (Fri.–Sun.)

• Target Audience: Babies 8–16 months old (born between April 2025 and December 2025)
• Seating: 10 families per performance
• Tickets & Info: A seats 25,000 won (1 infant + 1 guardian), B seats 30,000 won (1 infant + 2 guardians) Due to the nature of the performances for infants, a guardian must accompany the child.
• Overview: A child’s very first performance through traditional arts. An artistic experience for babies aged 8 to 16 months.

• Overview: Art Concert and Five Senses Spoon is an integrated arts program that combines performances, exhibitions, and food experiences. It is operated as part of a specialization support project for cultural arts centers selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the Korea Arts Management Service, and is meeting citizens in a total of 12 sessions between April and October.

Baby Sound Theatre

• Overview: A journey from where life begins as a single dot; grows into circles, triangles, and squares; and gradually builds relationships with the world.
  

ART EXHIBITIONS                          

The 29th Heo Baekryeon Art Award Winner’s Exhibition: “Jang Jinwon – Glory”

• Dates: June 26 – August 16
• Venue: Gwangju Museum of Art, Exhibition Rooms 5 and 6
• Overview: Jang Jinwon received the Grand Prize at the 29th Heo Baekryeon Art Awards as an artist who presents a new vision for Korean painting through original works that reinterpret traditional Korean painting techniques in a contemporary way. “Jang Jinwon – Glory” is an exhibition that highlights Jang Jinwon’s artistic world, built upon Korean painting and developed into a unique, personal visual language.

Goheung Art Center’s Song Pilyong Invitational Exhibition: “The Chronology of Water”

• Overview: The Song Pilyong Invitational Exhibition “The Chronology of Water” has been organized to introduce the artistic world of Song Pilyong, a leading contemporary artist born in Goheung. This exhibition, the first to be held in his hometown, offers a valuable opportunity to encounter in one place the results of his long artistic journey and deeply considered reflections.
